Thefts from Vehicles

On the morning of Saturday, November 24, 2007 between 0300-0500 there were multiple thefts from vehicles on the west side of Cardston. The reported offences were in a broad area, from the downtown core to 5th Street W. It appears the subjects walked around trying vehicle doors until they found an open one and took whatver valuables they could find. They eventually found a vehicle with the keys in it and stole this vehicle.
We again urge everyone to lock and secure your vehicles and to remove anything of value from them. These subjects are looking to steal a car, not your car.
