OLIVE CROOKS GODFREY passed away in Cardston on Friday, August 17th, 2007 at the age of 78 years.

The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel, Cardston on Friday, August 24th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. Interment in the Cardston Cemetery.

CSL Ford Incidents

There have been several recent incidents of mischief at CSL Ford in Cardston. Suspects have been breaking into vehicles, sometimes smashing the windows. The most recent occurrence was the morning of Sunday, August 12, 2007 between 2:30am and 6:45am when a pickup truck and a travel trailer were broken into.

RCMP Report

On Tuesday August 7th at approximately 6:15 pm Cardston County EMS responded to fire in Standoff. While driving on Hwy 2, four 100ft lengths of 4 inch yellow high pressure hose fell off the truck as they were responding to the fire. 2 lengths were later recovered. 2 lengths are still outstanding .These hoses are extremely valuable to the fire department for the execution of there duties in protecting our homes.

Sometime Between the evening hours of August 8 and the early morning of August 9th, unknown person (s) vandalized a residence on 2a ave west in the form of graffiti. The suspect used brown spray paint to write with.

On Wednesday August 8th at approximately 10:45 pm unknown person (s) vandalized a residence on 5st W , by throwing eggs at the residence front door.
