LORANE wight EAKETT, our mom, passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, September 3, 2007 at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by our dad, F. Ray Eakett, September 20, 1999, and by her parents, Clarence and Esther Wight, along with her siblings Erma Pinkerton, Nona Gibb, and Lovell Wight She is survived by her brother Deloy (Dorothy) Wight and her sister Verda (Sheldon) Wynder. Mom is survived by five children, Kendon (Rae) Eakett, Sandi (Keith) Hudson, Shelley (Bob) Bach, Brian (Lori) Eakett, Wayne (Shannon) Eakett; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mom will forever be remembered for her beautiful legacy of handwork, her great meals, her baked goods, and her love for all.

The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta West Stake Center on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. Interment in the Cardston Cemetery.

AUDREY WINNIFRED bohne SPARKS, born August 9, 1926 in Fort Macleod, Alberta, passed away in Vulcan, Alberta on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Marvin in 1986 and her son-in-law, Dennis, in 1999. She is survived by three children, Janet Davidson, David (Barbara) Sparks, Lorie-Lynn (David) Payce, eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mom was a caregiver, first to her family, then to her friends and those who were put under her care. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a teacher, a genealogist, and a temple worker. She will be missed by her family and friends, but we know she is celebrating with her partner in life whom she dearly loved.

The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel, Cardston on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the Service. Interment in the Glenwood Cemetery.
