Claudia Evangeline Prince Lybbert Bohne, beloved wife of Ernest Winston Bohne of Glenwood, passed away peacefully in the Cardston Hospital on July 26th, 2007 at the age of 85 years.

Friends may meet the family at the Cardston Seniors’ Centre on Tuesday, July 31st from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. OR at the Church on Wednesday, August 1st from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the Service. The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Glenwood at 2:00 p.m . with Brother David Layton Officiating. Interment in the Glenwood Cemetery.

The Mormons, a four-hour documentary on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was broadcast nationally on PBS on 30 April and 1 May 2007.

The Scouts will be holding a centennial ceremony on August 1 @ 8:00am by the cenotaph in front of the Courthouse Museum in honor of the first scout camp held this day in 1907. They will be raising a commemorative flag for the Scouts Canada program. This flag will be flown for 1 week in honor of their centennial.

The Scouts Canada program has been in Cardston for 95 years now, and we feel it an honor to celebrate the program’s centennial this year.
